התורה הנסתרת Hidden Torah

הַתּוֹרָה הַנִּסְתֶּרֶת

Hidden Torah

The whole of the Chumash — five books, 5,846 verses, 305,172 letters — set in three traditions, with every instrument for reading what lies beneath the surface of them.

חֲמִשָּׁה חֻמְשֵׁי תּוֹרָה

The Five Books

Every letter, pointed and cantillated, held locally — nothing is fetched from anywhere else while you read. Choose a book to enter it.

שְׁלֹשָׁה נֻסָּחִים

Three Traditions

The same Torah, carried in three hands. Choosing one changes the letterform across the whole site, and changes which masoretic witness the text is drawn from. Your choice is remembered.

Where the witnesses genuinely diverge — 190 verses, nearly all of them a vav or a yod written out rather than left implied — the reader marks the verse and shows you both readings side by side.

מִשְׁקָל

The Workbench

Type or paste any Hebrew. Every value is computed as you go — vowels and cantillation are ignored, as they are in every reckoning.
