התורה הנסתרת Hidden Torah

התורה הנסתרת

Hidden Torah

The whole of the Chumash — five books, one unbroken thread of letters — laid open to be read slowly, gathered, counted, and set against itself.

What remains hidden?
חמשה חומשי תורה

The Five Books

The whole text waits in a quiet room, held close at hand. It opens as the scroll itself is written — bare consonants, unpointed, as the sofer set them down.

תורה אחת

One Text

One source stands behind every view, fixed and unmoving. Stam Sefarad is the hand it is written in by default. To change the letterform is to change only the garment the letters wear — never the letters beneath it, and never the words.

בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

Vowels and cantillation wait in reserve, offered as aids to study, but the text begins without them. Verse numbers keep outside the line of the Torah; the open and closed breaks between passages remain where the scribes left them.

The Workbench

Type or paste Hebrew to see standard gematria and its exact letter-by-letter arithmetic. Vowels and cantillation are ignored in the calculation.

The Instruments

A small and deliberate set of instruments, each one showing its whole working, hiding nothing. In the reader, they appear only after text is selected.
